Privacy Policy

World Stock Market Clock ("Market Clock", "we", "our", or "us") is a market-hours tracking app published by UvidStudio.

Summary

• We do not require account creation.
• We do not sell personal information.
• The app is ad-free. We do not run our own analytics or advertising backend, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.
• Favorites, notification preferences, and display settings are stored locally on your device.

Information handled by the app

Local device storage

The app stores the following information locally on your device using on-device storage:

• Favorite exchanges
• Notification preferences
• Theme and display preferences
• Dismissed notification history
• Onboarding state

This information is used only to make the app function and is not transmitted to us by default.

Notifications, widgets, and Live Activities

If you grant notification permission, the app can schedule local notifications on your device for market events. These notifications are generated locally from your saved preferences; there is no push server. Home Screen widgets and Live Activities are also rendered on-device from your saved data and do not transmit information to us.

Time synchronization requests

To keep countdowns accurate, the app may make best-effort HTTPS requests to public time services to correct your device clock drift:

• timeapi.io
• google.com

When your device contacts these services, those providers may receive standard technical request data such as your IP address, user agent, and request metadata according to their own privacy policies. We do not receive or store this data.

Links to broker websites

The app includes optional "Open in" shortcuts to third-party brokerage websites (for example, Interactive Brokers, eToro, and region-specific brokers). These links only open when you tap them. Tapping a link takes you to that broker's own website in your browser, where their privacy policy applies. We do not share any information with these brokers, and we do not receive any information about whether you tap a link.

Data we do not intentionally collect

We do not intentionally collect:

• Name
• Email address
• Account credentials
• Financial account data
• Precise location
• Contacts
• Photos
• Microphone recordings

Data sharing

We do not sell or rent your information. Data may be processed by Apple, Expo, your network provider, and the third-party time services listed above as part of normal app delivery, notifications, or HTTPS requests.

Data retention

Data stored by the app remains on your device until you remove it, reset the app, or uninstall the app.

Children's privacy

The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version should always be published at the URL listed in App Store Connect.
